Thanks for checking out this blog. It follows two themes.
1. the power of communications to bring about positive social change.
This draws on my work with the Nike Foundation’s Girl Effect, as well as past work with Amnesty International, FRANK, Greenpeace, NHS and WWF.
2. the positive contribution business can make to society.
I’m a partner at Blaise Projects LLP at the Brunswick Group. We’re working with clients to define a narrative about their corporate purpose, and articulate their role in society.
I spent four years with the agency Mother, which taught me the holy trinity philosophy: have fun, do great work, make money. I’d add a fourth: make a difference. Before that I spent nearly seven years with Ogilvy, which taught me a lot about getting stuff done within big, complex, global organisations.
Previous clients include Coca-Cola, American Express, Dell, Boots, Post Office and DHL. I’ve worked as Planning Director at global, regional and local levels. If you really want to know more, here’s LinkedIn. I also have a channel full of old ads and campaigns on YouTube.
